Firoz Nadiadwal, who was a big filmmaker of his time, is now bringing three films again. All these projects are sequels to his earlier films. Joining him after a long time are his old co-stars Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Recently they also announced Hera Pheri 4 together. It was said that preparations are on to start shooting of ‘Hera Pheri 4’ from June.
Trade sources inform, Feroz Nadiadwala was accompanied by Anand Pandit on the upcoming installment of ‘Hera Pheri’. It was Anand Pandit’s idea that Firoz Nadiadwala restart his franchises for which he is known. However, it is now reported that Anand Pandit himself is not a part of the project.
It is believed that Firoz was looking for a producer who would single-handedly produce the other two films i.e. Welcome 3 and Awara Pagal Deewana 2. For this reason, he himself decided to make all three films.
If sources are to be believed then there is no problem with ‘Hera Pheri 4’ and ‘Awara Pagal Deewana 2’. The writing of Hera Pheri 4 is also more or less complete, written by Neeraj Vora. In such a situation, it is expected that its shooting will start in the summer of this year. The writing of Awara Pagal Deewana 2 is still incomplete. It doesn’t seem to be completed before October this year, so there could be a delay in that project.
The legal battle with Welcome 3 is going on. According to trade sources, “There is a litigation going on between Firoz Nadiadwala and Eros Company regarding his rights. Eros will give the rights of Welcome 3 to Firoz after he returns the money owed to him on the project of Welcome Back.
Anand Pandit may not be doing the Hera Pheri 4 franchise, but he is busy developing his own separate franchises Sarkar 4, Desi Boyz 2 and Omkara 2. According to the information received from the trade corridors, a lot of work is being done on the stories of all the three franchises.
The Sarkar 4 is getting written especially from the young writers of Gujarat. Anand wants those franchises to be prepared keeping in view of today’s conditions. Since recently he has been producing Gujarati films as well. In such a situation, he has also hired the same writers on the project of Sarkar 4.
