‘Hanuman’ Is Earning Rs 4 Crore More Every Day

Teja Sajja starrer film ‘Hanuman’, made with a budget of Rs 25 crore, did a business of Rs 16 crore 94 lakh on Sunday. With this, the film has collected Rs 41 crore 59 lakh across the country in 3 days. The film is earning Rs 4 crore more every day. The Hindi version of the film is also getting good response. It has done a business of Rs 12 crore 94 lakh in three days.

Whereas Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s film ‘Merry Christmas’ could not even cross the Rs 10 crore mark in its first weekend. It has collected Rs 9 crore 73 lakh in three days. The film did a business of Rs 3 crore 83 lakh on Sunday. Earlier it had earned Rs 2.45 crore on Friday and Rs 3.45 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the occupancy of the Hindi version of Merry Christmas was 19.58%. The Hindi version of the film has so far earned Rs 8 crore 8 lakh.

Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Guntur Karam’, which collected Rs 94 crore globally on the opening day, earned Rs 69 crore 10 lakh at the Indian box office on the first weekend. On Sunday it made a domestic collection of Rs 14 crore 25 lakh. At the Indian box office, the film earned Rs 41.3 crore on the first day and Rs 13.55 crore on the second day. This is the highest opener film of Mahesh Babu’s career.

Apart from this, Dhanush starrer ‘Captain Miller’, released on January 12, has also made good collections on the first weekend. The film did a business of Rs 24 crore 27 lakh in 3 days. The film earned Rs 8.7 crore on Friday and Rs 7.45 crore on Saturday. On Sunday it collected Rs 7.76 crore.

On this special occasion of Makar Sankranti and Pongal, many films have clashed at the Indian box office. Between January 12 and 15, 6 South films were released, out of which the dubbed versions of many films have attracted the Hindi audience as well.
