Filmmakers Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are close friends. Both have worked together in many films. Farah had told in an old interview that Shahrukh was with her when she was going through emotional trauma. On a call from Farah, Shah Rukh left the shooting of the film and reached her house. Not only this, Shah Rukh even stayed there for an hour so that Farah could feel better. Farah made her directorial debut in 2004 with Shahrukh’s film Main Hoon Na.
In this interview, Farah had said, ‘My father has passed away but he has sent Shahrukh to take care of me. I really want to thank Shahrukh because he has taken care of me a lot. I still remember when I was going through emotional trauma many years ago, only Shahrukh was with me.
Farah further said, ‘I was crying on the phone and within half an hour Shahrukh was standing at my door. He left his shooting for me. He sat with me for an entire hour and talked to me. This was the best therapy of my life.
Shah Rukh and Farah’s relationship has also gone through many ups and downs, especially when the superstar had a fight with Farah’s husband Shirish Kunder. However, both patched up later and Farah-Shahrukh are still close to each other. On the work front, Shahrukh’s film ‘Jawan’ will be releasing in September.
