Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ co-actress Swastika Mukherjee viral on social media, in which the name of Swastika was written that these days Suicide is in fashion. As soon as this news went viral, the actress was constantly getting threats of rape and acid attack. The actress complained to the Kolkata Cyber Crime Department after which two accused have been arrested.
The actress shared a post from her Instagram account. ‘On June 26, a few days after the death of my heart-beaten co-actor Sushant, a false news was published in my name, in which I said that suicide has become a fantasy these days, since then rape and acid attack. Including I started getting terrible online attacks’.

Shuvam Chakraborty of Bengal, who ran fake news in the media portal, has been arrested by the Kolkata Cyber Crime Branch and the person has also admitted to posting the news and circulating it on social media. On the basis of this news, Kaushik Das, who threatened the Swastika for rape and acid attack, is also now in police custody. Both have surrendered in court.
