Bollywood Director and Producer Karan Johar disappeared from social media after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, has returned after two months. On Saturday afternoon, he shared the tricolor photo and wished independence day. Karan wrote in the caption, “To our great country, which is a treasure of culture, heritage and history. Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind.” Karan’s post got more than 61 thousand views within two hours. However, the comments came only from select people. Because they have limited their comment section.
Karan Johar has un-followed several people from his Twitter account, including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Kajol. Currently, Karan is following only 8 people including PM Narendra Modi, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actors Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan besides those associated with his production house.
After Sushant’s death, it was revealed that he was in depression. After this the discussion started on social media that Sushant had come into depression due to the spread of nepotism in Bollywood and it was attributed to Karan Johar for promoting it. Social media users started calling Karan good and bad. Being upset, Johar had not only distanced himself from social media, but even changed his mobile number.
