Bollywood Producer Ekta Kapoor’s Two Television Shows Stopped On Air Due To COVID 19

There is a lockdown in the TV industry due to Coronavirus. All types of shooting and production are currently banned. In such a situation, Ekta Kapoor was forced to stop airing her two popular shows ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’. In place of these two shows, Ekta has brought her web series ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ on TV.

‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ has started airing on Wednesday night. It is being shown on TV from 9 to 10 pm. This is the same time slot in which ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ were telecast. Significantly, ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ is a Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar starrer web series, the first season of which began streaming in 2017 on Ekta’s digital platform Alt Balaji. This was followed by two more seasons of streaming in 2018 and 2019. A total of 42 episodes were shown, including the three seasons.

Ekta Kapoor announced on Wednesday that she is not able to shoot new episodes of her two popular shows. Ekta, while sharing the promo of ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’, wrote, “Very difficult times. But we are with each other. Since we cannot make more episodes of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’.” Because of this, we have extended our family shows on TV. So instead of Karan-Preeta (‘Dheeraj Dhupar and Shraddha Arya’ in ‘Kundali Bhagya’) or Abhi-Pragya (‘Shabbir Ahluwalia in Kumkum Bhagya and Sriti Jha’ in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’), you tipi and Karan ( ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ will see Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor’s character). We cannot do anything else to help our viewers. But in this difficult stressful time you can entertain them. So this Nagina from our library for all of you. Your favorite couple Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar returning to TV

Apart from ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’, Ekta Kapoor has also brought another web series ‘Kahane Ko Humsafar Hai’ on TV. It has started airing from 10.30 pm on Wednesday night. Streaming of Ronit Roy, Mona Singh and Gurdeep Kohli starrer series started in 2018. Two seasons have been shown so far.
