The Bihar government has recommended a CBI inquiry in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, ‘This decision was to be taken only after the consent of the family. We had already said that if the family demands, we will work on it. Today Sushant’s father demanded from us. Today we will send recommendation. The process has started. This morning, Sushant’s father KK Singh spoke to Nitish. During this, he appealed to issue a CBI inquiry order.
The situation between Bihar and Mumbai Police has increased with regard to this matter. Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey said on Tuesday, ‘Our IPS officer Vinay Kumar Tiwari was forcibly quarantined. If the Maharashtra government fosters its police, let us be told what they did 50 days after Sushant’s death. Mumbai officials are not negotiating with us. It indicates that something is wrong. ‘
Pandey said that Vinay Tiwari was treated like a criminal. He has been arrested in the house. Our four officers have been hiding there due to fear of Mumbai Police. He said that if Riya Chakraborty is innocent then why she does not come forward and cooperate in the investigation. Why are they only supporting Mumbai Police? He asked why the Mumbai Police flares up on hearing Sushant’s former manager Disha Salian’s name.
Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika (BMC) officers are searching for four Bihar Police officers who have come to Mumbai for investigation. BMC has quarantined Patna’s SP Vinay Tiwari on Sunday. Patna IG IG Sanjay Singh said that our police are searching for the identified people in Mumbai, but have not been able to trace them yet.
Bihar Police alleged that all this is happening at the behest of Mumbai Police so that the Patna Police cannot complete their investigation. Patna’s IG Sanjay Singh has written a letter to BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal and appealed to release SP Tiwari. On the other hand, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that it is not right to quarantine a police officer. The DGP has given full information on behalf of our government. Bihar’s DGP himself will also speak to the DGP there.
