Is Ranveer Singh Scared After The Flop Of Circus?

Since The Bollywood Film ’83 last year, Ranveer Singh has had a total of three consecutive flops. Especially ‘Circus’ flopped badly at the box office. According to trade reports, the film has been able to earn only 20 crores in the first weekend of its release. Whereas ‘Avatar 2’ has earned more than 25 crores in 10 days of its release. Due to the continuous flop films of Ranveer Singh, the trade experts are divided into two groups. One says that Ranveer’s star power does not have that factor. And the other group believes that Ranveer Singh is just going through a bad phase. His bounce back is possible.

Talking about this, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, ‘Of course Ranveer has done hit films like Gunday, Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani. These films were soon followed by hit films like Simba and Gully Boy. But after that 83 flopped, Jayeshbhai Jordaar was a disaster, Circus was a super disaster. In such a situation, his standing has been affected. In our industry, an actor is known by his last fight. Three Fridays haven’t been good in Ranveer’s case. The reason for this happening is that the circus was not well made. In film 83, people thought they might be watching a documentary. Jayeshbhai Jordaar was totally rejected. The trailer of Circus itself left the fans disappointed. The audience probably wants Ranveer’s Simmba image.

Taran further says, ‘The second thing I would like to say is that Ranveer Singh has become a bit overexposed. From his photoshoots to his stories on social media or his visit to FIFA. Here he should keep a little mystery from his fans. Now look at Ranbir Kapoor, he is not visible after Brahmastra. Ranveer Singh’s fashion sense has also created a problem. People want to see the star, not the comedian.

Distributor and trade expert Akshay Rathi also agrees with Girish Johar’s words. He says, ‘Ups and downs come in every actor’s career. Right after Chennai Express, when Shahrukh’s Harry Met Sejal and Zero came, it didn’t work. But now that his Pathan, Jawan and Danki are about to come next year, see how eagerly the fans are waiting for him. Just like when Ajay Devgan’s Tanhaji was a hit, but his films Runaway 34 and Thank God didn’t work, but Drishyam 2 did. Star can provide opening only to an extent. After that it is very important for the film to be good. Of course there have been many good films with Bhansali in Ranveer’s career, but Ranveer’s debut was with Band Baaja Baaraat and it was a hit.
