‘Bahubali’ fame director SS Rajamouli has sold the ‘post theatrical’ digital and satellite rights of his most awaited film ‘RRR’. Zee, Netflix and Star have bought post theatrical digital and satellite rights for the film. Information about this has been shared by the makers on social media themselves. The digital rights for the film’s Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions have been purchased by ZEE5. At the same time, digital rights of Hindi, English Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions of ‘RRR’ have been taken by Netflix. Apart from this, Zee Network has purchased satellite rights for the Hindi version of the film. where Star India Network has acquired satellite rights to the Telugu Tamil and Kannada and Asianet versions of the Malayalam version of the film

According to reports, Zee Group has bought digital and satellite rights of ‘RRR’ for Rs 300 crore. However, the network and film makers have not officially revealed the financial details of the deal. It is being told that this RRR deal is the biggest ‘post theatrical’ digital and satellite deal of any film in India so far. Ram Charan and Junior NTR starrer ‘RRR’ can be released in theaters worldwide on 13 October. The film will also feature Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan in the lead roles.
