R Madhavan Will Not Make Any Other Film After Rocketry

Bollywood actor R Madhavan is busy these days in the promotions of his upcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. At the same time, he also told that his wife Sarita also wants him to concentrate on acting now.

R Madhavan said, ‘I don’t think I will direct the film again. It’s a very tiring process and I don’t have any plans to direct a film right now. The directors who were earlier associated with the film ‘Rocketry’ had to opt out of these projects due to some reason. So I took this responsibility. I didn’t have time to talk to anyone else. Mr. Nambi also reposed his faith in me and I felt it was my duty. Let us inform that along with acting in this film, Madhavan has also handled the responsibility of writing and direction.

R. Madhavan further said, ‘My wife wants me to concentrate on acting for the time being. I am not Mani Ratnam, who can make films after being confident on different subjects. I don’t think I can do that. If I have to direct a film again, then the story should be such that it can really inspire me.

Madhavan recently revealed that Suriya has also made a cameo in the film along with Shah Rukh Khan. He didn’t even charge a single rupee for it. Along with his fees, he also did not charge the fees of costume and assistant. At the same time, Surya had also reached Mumbai to shoot with his team. He also took neither the flight nor the dialogue writer’s money, who translated his line into Tamil.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on the life of former ISRO rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. He was arrested in 1994 on false charges of espionage.
