South’s superstar Yash’s film KGF-2 is continuously breaking records at the box office. Now this film has done world wide business of more than 880 crores in 11 days. With this, KGF-2 has also become the sixth highest-grossing Indian film, leaving behind Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’. Not only this, the Hindi version of the film has also made many records by earning more than 320 crores in 11 days. The trade analyst expects the film to enter the 1000 crore club soon.
Manobala Vijaybalan shared a post on social media and said that KGF-2, made in the budget of Rs 100 crore, made a world wide gross box office collection of 64.83 crores on the fourth day of the second week i.e. on the 11th day (Sunday). Earlier, the film had earned 42.15 crores on the third day (Saturday) of the second week, 26.09 crores on the second day (Friday) and 30.18 crores on the first day (Thursday). At the same time, the film did a business of Rs 720.31 crore in the first week.
Accordingly, the film has made a total world wide gross box office collection of Rs 883.56 crore in 11 days so far. With this, the film has become the 6th highest grossing Indian film in 11 days, leaving behind the lifetime gross business of Aamir Khan’s film ‘PK’.
Taran Adarsh told that the Hindi version of KGF-2 has earned Rs 22.68 crore in India on the fourth day of the second week i.e. on the 11th day. Earlier, the Hindi version of the film had earned 18.25 crores on the third day of the second week, 11.56 crores on the second day and 13.58 crores on the first day. At the same time, this version of the film did a business of Rs 255.05 crore in the first week. Accordingly, the Hindi version of the film has so far earned a total of Rs 321.12 crore in 11 days.
With this, KGF-2 has also become the fastest film to cross the 300 crore mark in Hindi. Before KGF-2 PK (2014), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Dangal (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Padmavat (2018), Sanju (2018) and War (2019) 300 Crore Club are included in. Taran hopes that after ‘Baahubali 2’, KGF-2 will also become the first film to cross the 500 crore mark in Hindi.
