Bollywood Director Karan Malhotra has reacted to the leak of the poster of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Shamshera’. In an interview, Karan said that he is very happy that Ranbir’s fans liked his look and poster. He also revealed that the team of ‘Shamshera’ wants to start the campaign of film promotion from next week.
Talking about Shamshera, Karan said, “We keep planning our lives so that we can get things at the right time. But in that planning we forget that the universe always gives things on time. Kind of Incident is a perfect example of that. I am very happy that Ranbir Kapoor’s fans liked the poster and his look.”
The director added, “We want to start our campaign from next week, but it looks like the fans can’t wait for it. I don’t blame them for it, as they have been working on this film for a long time. Have waited. Ranbir is making a comeback in cinema after 4 years. So it will be difficult for the fans to contain their excitement. I am extremely happy with the response to the poster.”
The story of the film is about a man who is a slave. From slave to leader and leader to legend for his tribe. He fights for the freedom and pride of his tribe. Directed by Karan, the film is produced by Aditya Chopra. The film will hit the theaters on July 22 in three languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Among Ranbir’s upcoming projects, is Luv Ranjan’s untitled romantic comedy film. In which he will be seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The actor is also a part of Ayan Mukerji’s film ‘Brahmastra Part One’. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in lead roles.
