The story revolves around an elder named Chandrakant Deshpande (Vikram Gokhale), who is facing the family’s disdain. According to this letter of Amitabh, his teacher used to call him and Chandrakant as AB and CD (Amitabh Bachchan and Chandrakant Deshpande). At first glance, the story seems to be of two friends, one of whom becomes a superstar and the other is a middle class creature
Subodh Bhave, Sayali Sanjeev and Akshay Tankasale also have important roles in the film. This is Amitabh Bachchan’s first Marathi film which will appear only in cameo role.
