Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma left her car and rode a bike to avoid traffic on May 15. During this both he and the person riding the bike were without helmets. Now the police has handed over a huge challan to Anushka. The Mumbai Traffic Police tweeted that a challan of Rs 10,500 has been imposed on Anushka.
There is a fine of Rs 500 for traveling without a helmet, but the person driving Anushka’s bike did not even have a license. Because of this, an additional fine of Rs 5000 has been imposed on him. The remaining fine of Rs 5000 has been imposed on the owner of the vehicle. Apart from this, a fine of Rs 1000 has also been imposed on Amitabh Bachchan.
Anushka paid the full amount of the challan without delay. In fact two days ago social media users tagged Mumbai Traffic Police with Anushka Sharma’s picture. People said that the police must take action in this matter. At the same time, Amitabh Bachchan also shared a picture on social media, in which he is seen sitting behind a man on a bike. Now the police has taken action on both under Section 129 (Motor Vehicle Act).
In this case, Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Traffic Police Praveen Padwal said, ‘Mumbai Traffic Police had received a complaint that two celebrities without helmets have come out on the streets of Mumbai by sitting in the back of the car. Police traced the vehicle and took action against the traffic rule breakers in both the cases. As part of the action, fine has been imposed on the rider and the person sitting behind. Whoever the person may be, if he violates the traffic rules then action will definitely be taken against him.
