Former Bigg Boss Telugu contestant and YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswant has reportedly been arrested by the Hyderabad Police. YouTuber has been arrested on charges of possessing drugs. The arrest took place during investigation into a separate case involving Shanmukh’s brother Sampat Vinay.
Sampath Vinay allegedly cheated on his long term girlfriend, with whom he was about to get married. Despite marriage plans, Sampath reportedly married another woman, following which his former fiancee filed a complaint of cheating against him. Reportedly, when the police went to the house of Shanmukh Jaswant to arrest his brother Sampat, he was not there. However, police found marijuana in Shanmukh’s possession, leading to his arrest.
The setback marks yet another controversy in Shanmukh’s tumultuous journey, which was the highlight of his headline-grabbing stint on Bigg Boss. Despite being in a relationship with fellow YouTuber Deepti Sunaina, Shanmukh’s closeness with Siri Hanumanth on the show had sparked controversy. This was the reason why his relationship with Deepti Sunaina ended after his exit from Bigg Boss.
Additionally, Shanmukh has a history of getting into legal trouble, including previous arrests for drunk driving and a hit-and-run incident. He was released on bail in the case. Now, Shanmukh is back in the headlines due to drug possession charges. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
