Bollywood Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is soon back with the sequel of 2019 blockbuster comedy Dream Girl. The film is set to release in theaters on 25 August. Meanwhile, in an interview to the media, Ayushmann said that he was not sure about casting Ananya Pandey as the lead actress in Dream Girl 2. The actor told that he felt that Ananya was not the right choice for the role.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann said- ‘I always thought that she is an urban girl, so how would she be able to get into the character of a girl from Mathura, a Tier-2 city of India. But she instantly got into the character of Mathura and the dialect associated with it. In our country the accent changes every 10 kms, but she has a very good accent. She caught her character immediately.
Ayushmann further said- If you are a girl from Mumbai, then it is difficult to catch such accents. I still speak Hindi, think in Hindi, that’s why I get to do such characters. But she has really done a great job in the film. We have seen her earlier in the film Pati Patni Aur Woh, she has done a film in UP before this. There was a person to teach us the dialect there, Yash Chaturvedi, who helped us a lot.
Ananya Pandey and Ayushmann Khurrana are going to be seen together for the first time in a film. However, the actor is 14 years older than Ananya. In such a situation, she was trolled a lot for the romantic scene between the two. Please tell that this film will be released in theaters on 25 August.
