Bollywood Actress Alia Bhatt has received the Best Actor Female Award for her performance in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. After winning the award, Alia shared the photo of the award function on social media. She thanked the film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranbir Kapoor and Raha for their continuous support in this journey.
Alia played the role of a sex worker in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film also won the Best Film and Best Director awards. Alia appeared in a black mermaid gown during the show. Rekha presented him with this award.
Sharing the photo on social media, Alia wrote – The day we finished shooting for the film Gangubai Kathiawadi, my hands were trembling. My heart was full. I remember telling my crew that I don’t know whether the film will be a hit or a flop, but I will always remember the experience of shooting this film.
She further wrote – I learned a lot under the guidance of Sanjay Sir and I have progressed a lot. This is my blockbuster. When I came out of that set, I realized that I have changed a lot as a person. And all this was possible only because I have such a great team.
Alia wrote – Gangu… Meri Jaan… Mera Alter Ego Hai! I feel that Gangu is my shadow. And all this is due to you Sanjay Sir! Thank you so much for believing in me so much. I will always be indebted to you for giving me the opportunity to work with you in this wonderful film. I’ve always said that you taught the world to believe in magic.
