Sharing the latest collection of the film, Taran Adarsh wrote, “The film picked up pace on the third day. It was important to come back on Saturday after falling behind on Friday. The film is doing well at the multiplexes which is a positive sign. Thursday – 11.20 cr, Friday – 7.40 cr, Saturday – 12.10 cr. Total – 30.70 crores.
Pan India film Dasara, released on March 30 itself, has so far earned 45.05 crores. In Hindi, the film has so far made 1.61 crores. The actor of this film, Naveen Babu aka Nani had recently come to Jaipur in connection with the promotion.
When asked about the clash between Bholas and Dasra, he replied, “I myself want to be at number two, I will go to see Ajay Devgan’s movie first, just want both films to get the same love.” Nani has worked in popular Telugu movies like Makkhi and Jersey.
Bhola is Ajay Devgan’s third film which he has directed himself. Earlier he has directed films like U Me Aur Hum and Shivaay. Although both these films could not show anything special at the box office. Now Ajay has high hopes from Bhola. The film is getting mixed response from the audience and critics.
His films have been doing better for the last few years. Be it Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior or Drishyam 2. Both these films have collected more than 200 crores at the domestic box office. At the same time, he also had an important role in the film RRR, which earned about 1200 crores. Ajay Devgan is one of the few Bollywood actors who is known for acting with his eyes.
The audience likes the pair of Ajay Devgan and Tabu. The two last worked together in Drishyam 2. When Tabu was asked what was the reason that she said yes to Bhola.
Responding to PTI, he said, ‘I said yes to this film with my eyes closed. I surrendered to the director of the film, Ajay Devgan. I knew he would make everything easy. I didn’t know if I would be able to do this level of action but Ajay and his team helped me a lot and made things very easy. The quality of action that Ajay and his team have, I don’t think anyone else will have.
