Shoojit has directed many films of Abhishek’s father Amitabh Bachchan. It is noteworthy that Big B was in the lead role in Shoojit’s first directorial film ‘Shoebite’. But, due to disputes with the studios, this film could not be released yet. At the same time, Amitabh worked with Shoojit in the 2015 comedy film ‘Piku’. It also featured Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
Apart from this, Shoojit was also the producer and creative director of the 2016 courtroom drama ‘Pink’. In this, Amitabh played the role of a lawyer. The 2020 comedy film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ starring Big B and Ayushmann Khurrana was also directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Talking about Abhishek Bachchan’s work front, he was last seen in R Balki’s film ‘Ghoomar’ released last year. He played the role of a coach in the film. Many other stars including Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi were seen along with Abhishek in ‘Ghoomar’.
