Kishore Kumar’s real name was Abhas Kumar Ganguly. He was born in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. He started his career with Bombay Talkies like his brother Ashor Kumar.
Kishore Kumar acted for the first time in the 1946 film Shikari. His brother Ashok Kumar was in the lead role in this film.He was a big fan of Hollywood singer and actor Danny Kay. Kishore even had his poster in his room, where his Brother Ashok Kumar wanted Kishore Kumar to become an actor on his own path, although he was not interested in acting.
Kishore Kumar had married four times, not one or two. Ruma Guha, Madhubala, Yogita Bali and Leena Chandavarkar were his wives.
Kishore Kumar had converted to Islam to marry Madhubala. After becoming a Muslim, Kishore Kumar changed his name to Kareem Abdul.
