Bollywood Legend Dilip Kumar’s Death Anniversary

The first death anniversary of late actor Dilip Kumar is on Thursday, July 7. The actor was ill for a long time, after which he died a year ago. Dilip’s wife Saira Banu has shared a long note remembering her husband. In which he has narrated the story of 56 years together. Also, Saira wrote how she fell in love with the actor at the age of 12.

Saira Banu said on her husband’s first death anniversary, “Not seeing him on the bed, I hide my face in the pillow and try to sleep. As if by doing this I would open my eyes again and find him sleeping next to me His rosy cheeks will shine like the morning sun. I consider myself very lucky to have my Joseph with me for more than 56 years.”

Saira further wrote, “The whole world knows that I fell in love with him at the age of 12. I grew up with the same dream that he is the only person who is perfect for me. When my dream If true, I came to know that I was not the only fan of his, but there was a long line of girls who wanted to be Mrs. Dilip Kumar. Many people in the industry considered him as their mentor. Thank God for introducing me to him. I am. Meeting him was the best gift in the world.”

Saira told that whenever she sees Dilip’s photo, she cannot stop her tears. Saira wrote, “There is not a single moment when he is not in front of my eyes. Whenever I turn on the TV, some picture of him is coming. My entire staff sits down to watch his film, but I do not watch Because I can’t stop myself from crying. I can’t see any photo of my sahab without crying. Be it a popular song from a film or an interview.”

Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar were married in 1966. At that time Saira was 22 years old and Dilip 44 years old. The actor’s name was Yusuf Khan, later he changed his name to Dilip Kumar. His first film was Jwar Bhata in 1944 and last film was Qila in 1998. In his career spanning 54 years, the actor gave many hits.
