Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar on Thursday donated one crore rupees to build a school in Jammu and Kashmir. This school is located near the Line of Control (LoC) in village Tulail, located in Bandipora. Akshay also met the Border Security Force personnel guarding the LoC. He also talked to the villagers who arrived by helicopter near the village on Thursday afternoon.
BSF DG Rakesh Asthana paid tribute to the soldiers who were martyred while guarding the border on this occasion. During this, Akshay Kumar also saluted the soldiers. A BSF jawan said that Akshay boosted our morale. Many villagers also came here to see him. Akshay also danced with the villagers. Akshay praised the villagers and jawans, who lead their lives in extremely difficult conditions close to the border.
After this trip on the LoC, Akshay has also shared many photos with the soldiers on Instagram. He wrote on social media – I had a memorable day today with the BSF jawans guarding the border. It is always good to come here. Spending time with the soldiers who are real heroes. My heart is filled with respect for him.
Apart from Akshay, BSF also shared photos of this visit on Twitter and told that Akshay spent time with the soldiers at the forward location.
