The Mumbai Police recently revealed that rapper Badshah has given Rs 75 lakh on social media to increase fake followers and likes. After which the rapper issued a statement denying the allegations leveled against him and denied any involvement in any such activity. In this case, police are also investigating against 20 other big people besides the emperor.
Issuing the statement, the emperor said, ‘After receiving the summons, I have spoken to the Mumbai Police. I have supported the authorities in the investigation, as well as have given them all the information available with me. I have categorically denied all the allegations against me and made it clear that I have never been involved in such activities nor do I support it. ‘
He further wrote, ‘The investigation process is going on according to the law, and I have full faith in the institutions looking into this matter. I would like to thank all those who have expressed their concern. It means a lot to me.
Mumbai Police had said that the emperor had obtained fake followers and likes by paying Rs 75 lakh to create a new record of viewership on YouTube. He wanted to create a new world record for getting the most views of his music videos on YouTube on 24 hours.
