Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Bollywood actress Yami Gautam for questioning. This summon has been sent to her in connection with the alleged irregularities under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act). The actress has been asked to appear on July 7 at 11 am.
It is being told that foreign exchange worth about Rs 1.5 crore has been transacted from Yami’s bank account, about which he did not inform the officials. Raising doubts on some of these transactions, the ED has issued this summon. According to the information, this is the second ED summon sent to the actress.
Yami married film director Aditya Dhar a few days back. After returning from honeymoon three days back, she again joined the shooting of the film ‘A Thursday’. Yami will be seen playing the role of a school teacher named Naina Jaiswal in the film. Yami Gautam rose to fame with the ad of ‘Fair and Lovely’. He has worked in films like Uri, Kaabil, Sanam Re, Ginni Weds Sunny, Vicky Donor, Bala, Badlapur, Total Siyapa.
