Bollywood Actor Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are all set to share the screen for the first time. Both the directors will be seen in Laxman Utekar’s next rom-com. Laxman is known for ‘Luka Chuppi’ and ‘Mimi’. Both the films were made under the banner of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The production house will also produce Utekar’s next film with Vicky and Sara.
According to media reports, the film is a story of a small town with a social message. Reports have it that Vicky and Sara will be seen in the role of a husband and wife who want to stay in their house away from their joint family. The couple will be seen using the Government of India’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to get a house and the drama that unfolds in order to become eligible for this scheme is connected to the story.
PMAY has been used as a story. Producers want to present an important message to the audience in a light way. As per reports, Ayushmann Khurrana was first approached for the film. However, things did not work out and Vicky Kaushal was roped in. The script of the film was locked a few months back. The film will go on floors on November 15 and will be shot in Ujjain and Gwalior in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
