Due to Corona these days most of the films are being shot in Mumbai. If the makers are moving out of Mumbai, then they are completing the shooting of the film at a single location there. So that the biobubble is also maintained without any effect on the shoot. For example, Taapsee Pannu’s banner film ‘Blur’ is being shot in Nainital these days. Apart from this, recently Vikramaditya Motwani’s banner ‘Stardust’ was shot at a single location in Manali. That was a schedule of four days, the shooting took place there with Aparshakti Khurana and the rest of the cast.
Cast and crew of 120 people from Mumbai reached Nainital
Regarding ‘Blur’, line producer Mayank Tiwari said, “The cast and crew of 120 people from Mumbai has reached there. They have been posted there in Balrampur. Taapsee is in the role of a girl next door. The name is Gautami, she is a married girl. Gulshan Devaiah is playing the role of Gautami’s husband. Soon after the wedding, they both come to Nainital to get involved in solving a murder mystery. Most of the scenes are to be shot in the rain. For this, arrangements have been made for two thousand liters of water. However, even if there is natural rain these days, it is helping a lot.
The entire shooting of the film will be done in Nainital and its surrounding areas. In order not to break the chain of Biobubble, apart from Nainital city, important scenes will be shot in Bhawali, just 11 km away from there. Then Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah and the entire team will go to Ramgarh and Sattal areas as well. Ramgarh and Satpal are also an hour away from Nainital. From Proper Nainital, 20 artists have been selected for the film.
Mayank explains, “Hotel sequences have been shot in the recent past. Some driving sequences have been shot. Also the house scene of Taapsee’s character Gautami has been shot. The makers have taken all precautionary measures on the sets. From Mumbai. A proper COVID investigation team has arrived, consisting of eight people. Their job is to conduct rapid antigen test of the cast and crew on every 10th day and RTPCR test on the 14th day. It has been several days since the shoot started. Somebody Even Kovid has not been affected.”
