Is Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar Still At Top Position?

Bollywood Khiladi Kumar Akshay of Bollywood is one of the few actors who do maximum number of films annually. After Akshay’s corona period, films like Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Samrat Prithviraj have come, for which he has charged hefty fees. There are many films for which the actor has charged more than the total box office earnings of the film. Let’s know how much fee Akshay took for which films.

Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar starrer film Samrat Prithviraj, has been released on 3 June. The film was made on a huge budget of Rs 175 crores, which has so far collected only Rs 84 crores. Akshay had charged 60 crores for this film, which is only a few crores less than the film’s earnings so far. Akshay’s fee came out from this collection, but it could not be used.

The film Bachchan Pandey, released on 18 March 2022, was a big flop at the box office. The film had earned only Rs 68 crores, while Akshay had charged the entire 99 crores for this film. The producers could not even extract the lead actor’s fees from this collection. The film was made in a budget of 180 crores, starring Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez along with Akshay in lead roles. This film is the complete star of Tashan’s character Bachchan Pandey.

Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush starrer film, which released on February 14 last year, was digitally released on Disney Plus Hotstar. The rights of the film were sold for 200 crores, while Akshay had charged 27 crores for this film.

The film Suryavanshi was the first hit film after the Corona period. The film had collected Rs 195 crores. Akshay had charged only 25 crores for this film, but it was his highest-grossing film released after Covid.

Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi starrer film Bell Bottom, released on 19 August 2021, was produced in a budget of 70 crores, while Akshay charged 117 crores for it. The film did a box office collection of only 50 crores, from which Akshay’s fee does not even come out.
