The house of Bollywood’s famous director and producer Baldev Raj Chopra, better known as BR Chopra, has recently been sold for about Rs 183 crore. According to reports, this bungalow was owned by a well-known real estate developer, Raheja Corp. has bought. BR House is spread over an acre of 25,000 square feet in Juhu area of Mumbai.
According to reports, the BR House deal was done last month. At the same time, the developer had paid stamp duty of about Rs 11 crore for the registration of the house. The realty developer is said to be planning to build a premium project on this land through Residential Entity Corp Homes.
Talking about BR Chopra, he was born on 22 April 1914. After his post graduation from Lahore University, he went to Mumbai for the first time in 1947. After that he made many films, but in 1988, he got special recognition only from the house-to-house Mahabharata. BR Chopra died on 5 November 2008 in Mumbai. BR Chopra is known for blockbuster movies like ‘Waqt’, ‘Naya Daur’, ‘The Burning Train’, ‘Nikah’, among others.
