Bollywood Actress Mrinal Thakur who was appeared in films like Super-30 and Batla House, has got another big film. She will soon be seen opposite Siddharth Malhotra in the Hindi remake of the superhit Tamil film ‘Thadam’. she will play the role of a police officer, while Siddharth will have a double role in it. This thriller film based on Murder Mystery was announced earlier this month.
The name of the Hindi remake of ‘Thadam’ has not been finalized yet, and its release date has been set to 20 November. The film is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani of the T-series. Shooting of the film will start in May and most of its shooting will be in Delhi. This film will be inspired by true events.
Mrinal recently finished shooting for the film Aankh Michouli and after that he gave all the dates of May and June for the remake of ‘Thadam’. Apart from this film, she has two big films, one of which is opposite Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, while the other is Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s film ‘Storm’, in which she will be seen alongside Farhan Akhtar.
Siddharth Malhotra shared the film on 4 March, sharing a photo with Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. He wrote, ‘I am very excited to be a part of this tremendously entertaining thriller film with double trouble, Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Vardan Ketkar.
See you in theaters on 20 November 2020. The producer of the film Bhushan Kumar also tweeted, “I am making the next film with Murad Khetani, in which Siddharth Malhotra will act. Inspired by true events, this action thriller film will go on floors in May and will be released on 20 November 2020.
The Tamil film ‘Thadam’ was released in March last year. In which Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smriti Venkat and Vidya Pradeep played the lead roles. The producer of this murder mystery film was Indra Kumar, while it was directed by Magiz Thirumani.
