Read Time:1 Minute, 17 Second

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s film Selfie failed at the box office. The film has collected only 10.24 crores in three days. No one would have predicted that the film would do so poorly. Even Akshay himself would not have expected such a thing.

The film had a poor opening of 2.55 crores on the first day of its release. On the weekend, it was expected that there would be a jump in the film’s earnings, but it did not happen. There was a slight growth in the film’s earnings on the second and third day. Even in its fifth week, Pathan is performing better than Selfie.

On Sunday, Pathan has collected 2.45 crores while Selfie has collected 3.89 crores. However, it is worth noting that Selfie has been released for only three days while Pathan has been running in theaters for more than a month.

Sharing the collection of the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote that the figures of Selfie are enough to disappoint the Hindi film industry. If you look at the records of Akshay Kumar’s last 13 years, Selfie is his lowest (2.55 crore) opening film. has become Even the film Bellbottom, released during the time of Kovid, also got a good opening from Selfie. Bellbottom had a first day collection of 2.75 crores. If we see the figures of this film in the budget of 120 crores, then it would not be wrong to say that the film is heading towards being a disaster.
