Akshay Kumar’s Cutputli was the official Hindi remake of the Tamil superhit film Ratasasan. It was a psycho thriller film directed by Ranjit M. Tiwari. Apart from Akshay, Kul Preet Singh and Sargun Mehta were also in important roles in the film.
It was streamed on Disney+Hotstar on 2 September 2022. The film got a rating of 6.0 on IMDB. The film got mixed response from critics. Akshay made his OTT debut through this film. Cutputli is the most watched movie on OTT platforms this year. Along with the box office, Akshay has hit hard on OTT.
Ajay Devgn’s series Rudra – The Edge of Darkness streamed on Disney+Hotstar on 4 March 2022. In this crime thriller series Rudra, Ajay played the powerful role of DCP Rudraveer Singh. Rashi Khanna also had an important role in the series.
